A History of Medical Internal Dosimetry
Health Physics, 1995This paper presents a short history of the development of medical internal dosimetry. It reviews the evolution of the equations and discusses the development of various mathematical models used to improve radiation absorbed dose estimates. The contributions of Leonidas Marinelli, Edith Quimby, William Mayneord, Robert Loevinger, Walter Snyder, and ...

AIDE: internal dosimetry software
Radiation Protection Dosimetry, 2008AIDE (Activity and Internal Dose Estimates) is a software for calculating activities in compartments and committed doses due to occupational exposures, and for performing intake and dose estimates using bioassay data. It has been continuously developed and tested for more than 20 years.

An Internal Dosimetry Intercomparison Study
Health Physics, 1994Pacific Northwest Laboratory performed a study to evaluate the consistency of internal dosimetry assessments. A total of eleven laboratories, including DOE sites and NRC licensees, participated in this intercomparison study. Participants were asked to respond to five actual exposure scenarios, previously used in a similar European study.
