Geometry‐driven design of soft cellular metamaterials is systematically investigated by combining experiments, finite element modeling, and statistical prediction. The study quantifies how unit cell geometry and material properties govern stiffness, instability, densification, and energy absorption.

COMPARISON OF DIFFERENT TYPE OF FRICTION ANGLE IN KINEMATIC ANALYSIS [PDF]
The kinematic analysis is a method in determining the types of failure modes for a rock slope. This analysis is referring to the motion of bodies without reference to the forces that cause them to move and depending on the relationship between slope ...

Effective control over the crystalline contact plane and microstructure of a naphthalenediimide‐bithiazole copolymer enables high‐performance n‐type thermoelectrics. While rubbing alignment induces a detrimental edge‐on orientation, subsequent solvent vapor‐induced re‐orientation facilitates a favorable mixed face‐on/edge‐on morphology.

Influence of internal friction angle on slope stability in incoherent soil : master's thesis [PDF]
Kosine su sastavan dio rudarske i geotehničke struke. U svrhu analize sigurnosti istih tokom godina su osmišljene mnoge metode proračuna. Metode se jedna od druge razlikuju u mogućnosti primjene i složenosti.

CONTINUOUS-DISTRIBUTION DISLOCATION MODEL OF INTERNAL FRICTION ASSOCIATED WITH THE INHOMOGENEOUS SLIDING ALONG HIGH-ANGLE GRAIN BOUNDARIES [PDF]
Basing on a continuous-distribution dislocation model of high-angle grain boundaries, an integral-differential equation governing the inhomogeneous sliding along the boundaries was set up. This equation consists of three terms.

Effective Friction Angle Of Deltaic Soils In The Vistula Marshlands [PDF]
This article presents the results of laboratory tests on soft, normally consolidated soils from the Vistula Marshlands. Samples of high-plasticity organic soils (muds) taken from 3.2–4.0 m and 9.5–10.0 m depth, as well as peat deposit at 14.0 m, are ...
