Identifying gene expression signatures for risk stratification of postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy in colorectal cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
A novel signature integrating genome‐wide analysis with clinical factors predicts recurrence in stage II colorectal cancer and enables a new risk stratification to guide postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy. Clinical risk stratification for postoperative recurrence in patients with pathological stage II (pStage II) colorectal cancer (CRC) is essential ...

Project Bundling, Liquidity Spillovers, and Capital Market Discipline [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper develops a theory of integration based on the inability of parties to write comprehensive financial contracts. In our model, integration comes with both benefits and costs.

Effect of the cosmological constant on the deflection angle by a rotating cosmic string

open access: yes, 2018
We report the effect of the cosmological constant and the internal energy density of a cosmic string on the deflection angle of light in the spacetime of a rotating cosmic string with internal structure.

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.

Impact of EHR direct-to-patient outreach on ambulatory advance directives completion among older adults

open access: yesBMJ Health & Care Informatics
Background Advance directives (AD) are crucial for aligning healthcare with end-of-life preferences, yet documentation rates remain low, often only 5–15%.

Facilitators and Barriers to the Integration of Healthcare Service and Building Design [PDF]

open access: yes
Service design research recognises the importance of infrastructure design in the achievement of streamlined service delivery. Although research about service design and building design is abundant, very little is known about the integration of these ...

Global integration of the Schr\"odinger equation: a short iterative scheme within the wave operator formalism using discrete Fourier transforms

open access: yes, 2015
A global solution of the Schr\"odinger equation for explicitly time-dependent Hamiltonians is derived by integrating the non-linear differential equation associated with the time-dependent wave operator.

Natural Products as Geroprotective Modulators in Diabetic Nephropathy: A Mechanistic Framework Integrating Aging Hallmarks and the AMPK–SIRT1–Nrf2 Axis

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
Natural products target the aging kidney in diabetic nephropathy by restoring the AMPK–SIRT1–Nrf2 axis, reducing oxidative stress, inflammation, fibrosis, and cellular senescence while enhancing mitochondrial biogenesis and antioxidant defenses.

PENGARUH INTEGRASI INTERNAL, INTEGRASI EKSTERNAL, DAN EFEK KOMPLEMENTER INTEGRASI DALAM RANTAI PASOKAN TERHADAP INOVASI PRODUK

open access: yesMIX: Jurnal Ilmiah Manajemen, 2017
. This research examines the individual and combined effects of internal integration (II) and external integration (IE) on product innovation (IP), which is based on ambidexterity theory.

Risk Prediction Models for Recurrence After Curative Treatment of Early‐Stage or Locally Advanced Lung Cancer: A Systematic Review

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
This systematic review synthesizes prognostic models for survival and recurrence in resected non‐small cell lung cancer. While many models demonstrate moderate to good discrimination, few are externally validated and reporting quality is variable, limiting clinical applicability and highlighting the need for robust, transparent model development ...
