Classification of acute myeloid leukemia based on multi‐omics and prognosis prediction value

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The Unsupervised AML Multi‐Omics Classification System (UAMOCS) integrates genomic, methylation, and transcriptomic data to categorize AML patients into three subtypes (UAMOCS1‐3). This classification reveals clinical relevance, highlighting immune and chromosomal characteristics, prognosis, and therapeutic vulnerabilities.

An overall ablation model of ethylene-propylene-diene monomer based on porous characteristics in char layer

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2016
A numerical methodology has been developed to simulate the overall ablation process of the insulator material named ethylene-propylene-diene monomer. Special attention is focused on the char layers of ethylene-propylene-diene monomer formed in different ...

Dependence on the sectional shape of tube for propagation behavior of three-dimensional detonation

open access: yesNihon Kikai Gakkai ronbunshu, 2014
This paper is concerned with numerical simulation on propagation behavior of three-dimensional detonations in square tubes. Influence on motion trajectories of high pressure region (shock triple points) due to the change of aspect ratio of tube is solved

The influence of the casting process on the internal structure and physical properties of hemp-lime

open access: yesMaterials Structure, 2016
Bio-aggregate composites such as hemp-lime offer a more sustainable alternative to traditional walling infill material. Hemp-lime, whether in situ or prefabricated, is generally either cast or sprayed, which results in a directionally dependent ...

Transcriptome‐wide analysis of circRNA and RBP profiles and their molecular relevance for GBM

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CircRNAs are differentially expressed in glioblastoma primary tumors and might serve as therapeutic targets and diagnostic markers. The investigation of circRNA and RNA‐binding proteins (RBPs) interactions shows that distinct RBPs play a role in circRNA biogenesis and function.

Internal bialgebroids, entwining structures and corings [PDF]

open access: yesAMS Contemp. Math. 376 (2005) 207-226, 2003
The internal bialgebroid -- in a symmetric monoidal category with coequalizers -- is defined. The axioms are formulated in terms of internal entwining structures and alternatively, in terms of internal corings. The Galois property of the coring in question is related to the $\times_R$-Hopf algebra property.

The roles and applications of extracellular vesicles in cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are minute versions of cells limited by a lipid bilayer containing cytoplasm from the cell that releases them, but without a nucleus and thus unable to self‐reproduce. EVs contain multiple molecules (proteins, lipids, glycans, and nucleic acids) they can induce complex responses in cells.

Precise Design of Solid Rocket Motor Heat Insulation Layer Thickness under Nonuniform Dynamic Burning Rate

open access: yesInternational Journal of Aerospace Engineering, 2019
With the purpose of obtaining optimal designs of the heat insulating layers in solid rocket motors, we have proposed a numerical approach to compute the ideal thickness of the heat insulating layer.
