Thermally Modulated Metasurface Sensor for Dynamic and Time‐Resolved Isolation of Extracellular Vesicles

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A thermally adaptive plasmonic metasurface, functionalized with poly(N‐isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAM) and anti‐CD63 antibodies, enables precise, on‐demand capture and release of extracellular vesicles (EVs). Delivering high recovery, improved purity, and intact vesicle structure, the platform offers a versatile, label‐free solution for real‐time EV ...

Phase Boundary Engineering of Co2P‐CoP Branched Nanoparticles Enhances Cobalt Oxidation for Oxygen Evolution Electrocatalysis

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Phase boundaries between Co2P and CoP are constructed through a controlled transformation of Co to Co2P‐CoP branched nanoparticles. The polycrystalline mixed‐phase Co2P‐CoP branches are enriched with phase boundaries that stabilize Co active sites for OER. This work highlights phase boundary engineering as a powerful approach to tailor active sites and

A Super‐Adhesive Air Filter With Capillarity‐Mediated Spontaneous Particle Absorption via Dynamic Bond Exchange

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We address the inherently weak particle adhesion of conventional air filters by coating a dynamically crosslinked adhesive layer that delivers capillarity‐driven strong adhesion and particle absorption mediated by dynamic bond exchange. The resulting enhancement in particle adhesion enables efficient ultrafast (up to 20 m s−1) and omnidirectional ...

An experimental study on water purification performance of modified volcanic rock ecological concrete

open access: yesScientific Reports
Eco-concrete is an engineered porous material, often used in pervious pavement and slope protection. Volcanic rock, due to its loose and porous structure, can absorb pollutants and improve the performance of eco-concrete.

A ERSF-VIPA framework: scalable wildlife movement modelling for conflict mitigation

open access: yesMovement Ecology
1. Effective conservation planning and conflict mitigation can hinge on accurately modelling wildlife movement paths (WMPs), yet progress is hindered by both a shortage of reliable methods and limited data. The critical challenge, therefore, is to devise

Ferroelectric Dynamic‐Field‐Driven Nucleation and Growth Model for Predictive Materials‐To‐Circuit Co‐Design

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a compact dynamic‐field‐driven nucleation and growth (DFNG) model that captures ferroelectric switching behavior under arbitrary voltage waveforms. It enables extraction of time‐dependent domain wall velocity and growth dimensionality, which can then be extended to device‐level modeling.
