Exploring DNA Functionalization Techniques for Silver Nanoparticles
This study evaluates four functionalization methods—salt‐aging, pH‐assisted, freezing‐directed, and microwave‐assisted—for attaching DNA strands to 20 nm silver nanoparticles (AgNPs). The resulting DNA‐AgNP conjugates are characterized and colloidal stability and DNA loading are assessed.

State Visits and International Trade [PDF]
Politicians travel extensively abroad, for various reasons. One purpose of external visits is to improve bilateral economic relations. In this paper, I examine the effect of state visits on international trade. Based on a large data set that covers the travel activities of the heads of state of France, Germany and the United States for the period from ...

Molecular dynamics simulations are employed to model ion concentration polarization (ICP) at the nanoscale, revealing fundamental electrokinetic behaviors that align with experimental observations. The study demonstrates how membrane charge, ionic strength, and electric fields affect ion localization and biomolecule trapping, providing mechanistic ...

Peri‐implant soft tissue integration (STI), weaker than natural teeth, raises peri‐implant disease risk. Gingival‐region material surface properties critically modulate soft‐tissue responses, driving surface modifications to enhance STI. This review provides an in‐depth analysis of the challenges of STI around dental implants, comprehensively reviews ...

Structural Hamiltonian of the international trade network [PDF]
It is common wisdom that no nation is an isolated economic island. All nations participate in the global economy and are linked together through trade and finance. Here we analyze international trade network (ITN), being the network of import-export relationships between countries.

Development of ZnO Buffer Layers for As‐Doped CdSeTe/CdTe Solar Cells with Efficiency Exceeding 20%
Highly resistive ZnO has been used as the buffer layer in As‐doped CdSeTe/CdTe solar cells to achieve efficiencies higher than 20%. STEM images and EDX mapping show that the quality of the front interface is dependent on the ZnO deposition temperature. Unusually, chlorine is not observed at the front interface using EDX when the ZnO is deposited at 100
