Tokens for Anonymous Communications in the Internet [PDF]
With the growth and acceptance of the Internet, there has been increased interest in maintaining anonymity in the network. Using traffic analysis, it is possible to infer who is talking to whom over a public network. This work develops a novel approach to hide the senders and the receivers of messages. Routes are chosen and frames traverse these routes.

Symbiotic Radio: A New Communication Paradigm for Passive Internet of Things [PDF]
In this article, a symbiotic radio (SR) system is proposed to support passive Internet of Things (IoT), in which a backscatter device (BD), also called IoT device, is parasitic in a primary transmission. The primary transmitter (PT) is designed to assist

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

Low-Power Failure Detection for Environmental Monitoring Based on IoT
Many environmental monitoring applications that are based on the Internet of Things (IoT) require robust and available systems. These systems must be able to tolerate the hardware or software failure of nodes and communication failure between nodes ...

Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Tangible outcomes of internet use: from digital skills to tangible outcomes project report [PDF]
In the past decade, digital divide discussions have moved from discussions of use or non-use, to a more nuanced recognition of different types and levels of access, motivation, skills and Internet use in a discourse that centres around digital inclusion ...
