Motion of dust ejected from the surface of asteroid (101955) Bennu [PDF]
From Jan. 6, 2019 to Feb. 18, 2019, OSIRIS-REx observed asteroid (101955) Bennu ejecting 11 plumes of dust, of which part is escaping and another part is re-captured by the asteroid.

Formation, Structure, and Detectability of the Geminids Meteoroid Stream
The Geminids meteoroid stream produces one of the most intense meteor showers at Earth. It is an unusual stream in that its parent body is understood to be an asteroid, (3200) Phaethon, unlike most streams, which are formed via ongoing cometary activity.

Consequences of the Solar System passage through dense interstellar clouds [PDF]
Several consequences of the passage of the solar system through dense interstellar molecular clouds are discussed. These clouds, dense (more than 100 cm-3), cold (10–50 K) and extended (larger than 1 pc), are characterized by a gas-to-dust mass ...

The NASA Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) spacecraft successfully crashed on Dimorphos, the secondary component of the binary (65803) Didymos system. Following the impact, a large dust cloud was released, and a long-lasting dust tail developed. We

Interaction of interplanetary dust particles with magnetic clouds [PDF]
Context. The interaction of the solar wind with interplanetary dust in the inner solar system appears to result in the formation of inner-source pickup ions. The flux of these ions is roughly two orders of magnitude larger than expected based on established dust particle profiles. This discrepancy can be resolved, if a population of very small (~0.02

Mercury's Circumsolar Dust Ring as an Imprint of a Recent Impact
A circumsolar dust ring has been recently discovered close to the orbit of Mercury. There are currently no hypotheses for the origin of this ring in the literature, so we explore four different origin scenarios here: the dust originated from (1) the ...

A Dust Detection Database for the Inner Heliosphere Using the Parker Solar Probe Spacecraft
A database of in situ dust impact detections made by the Parker Solar Probe spacecraft is created to facilitate studies of interplanetary dust dynamics in the inner heliosphere.

Poynting-Robertson Effect and Collisions in the Interplanetary Dust Cloud [PDF]
A simulation model has been developed to study the results of the Poynting-Robertson (PR) effect and collisions on the dynamical evolution of an interplanetary dust cloud. Fragmentational and accretional effects are neglected. With a mean free collision time of the order of the PR lifetime collisional effects become of importance.
