CellPolaris decodes how transcription factors guide cell fate by building gene regulatory networks from transcriptomic data using transfer learning. A novel 3D printing technique enables subvoxel control of fiber orientation in all three directions through multidirectional shearing using nozzle rotation and inclination. It allows localized and tunable mechanical and thermal responses through programmable microstructures within a strand.

A Virtual Clinical Trial of Psychedelics to Treat Patients With Disorders of Consciousness

Disorders of consciousness after severe brain injury are marked by reduced complexity of brain activity and limited treatment options. Using personalized whole‐brain models, this study shows that simulated lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) and psilocybin shift patient brain dynamics closer to criticality.
