Molecular dynamics simulations of positively selected codons in FcγRI reveal novel biochemical binding properties

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

Analysis of relaxation time dependences on influencing factors in conducting oxides based on SnO2:Sb

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений. Поволжский регион: Физико-математические науки
Background. Transparent conducting oxides (TCOs) based on SnO₂:Sb are promising materials for transparent electrodes in optoelectronic devices. Understanding the mechanisms of charge carrier conductivity and relaxation in these materials is crucial for ...

Robust state estimation of electricity‐gas‐heat integrated energy system based on the bilinear transformations

open access: yesIET Generation, Transmission & Distribution, 2021
A comprehensive energy system state estimation is of great significance to promote efficient, stable and reliable operation of the system. Based on coupling characteristics of electricity‐gas‐heat multi‐energy flow and bilinear transformation method ...

Early‐life high‐fat diet exposure increases Achilles tendon stiffness and induces transcriptomic alterations

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.

Non-linear dynamics of flexible shell structures

open access: yesComputer Assisted Methods in Engineering and Science, 2023
The initial-boundary value problem in the weak form is formulated for the general six-field non-linear theory of branched shell structures. The extended time-stepping algorithm of the Newmark type is worked out for the non-linear dynamic analysis on the

Global asymptotic stability of a general biased min‐consensus protocol

open access: yesIET Control Theory & Applications, 2021
In this paper, a general biased min‐consensus protocol for continuous‐time multi‐agent systems is presented. In this protocol, agents considered as sources maintain static states, while the state of each non‐source agent evolves using a general min ...

Mutant NPM1 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Initiation and Maintenance

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
NPM1 mutations drive acute myeloid leukemia by acting as neomorphic transcriptional regulators that cooperate with Menin–MLL and XPO1 to sustain HOX/MEIS1 expression and block differentiation. Targeting these mutant‐specific transcriptional dependencies provides a rational therapeutic strategy for NPM1‐mutated AML.

Book Review: "A Course in Approximation Theory" by Ward Cheney and Will Light

open access: yesJournal of Approximation Theory, 2001
Introductory books in approximation theory are relatively rare. During the past 20 years we have seen the appearance of An Introduction to the Approximation of Functions, by T. J. Rivlin, Approximation Theory and Methods, by M. J. D.

Validity of a Wearable Digital Insole for Assessing Gait ON and OFF in Parkinson's Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Gait impairment is a distinctive symptom of Parkinson's disease that negatively impact mobility. We assessed the validity of wearable digital insoles against a validated reference gait analysis system for measuring select gait characteristics in patients with Parkinson's disease. Methods A comparative analysis between digital insoles
