Exon 7 splicing of ERα predicts poor prognosis and increases phenotypic heterogeneity in luminal a subtype breast cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.

Applications of Nachbin's Theorem concerning Dense Subalgebras of Differentiable Functions

open access: yesTrends in Computational and Applied Mathematics, 2018
In this paper, we give some applications of  Nachbin's Theorem  to approximation and interpolation in the the space of all k times continuously differentiable real functions on  any open subset of the  Euclidean space.

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...

Application of cubic spline interpolation in communication engineering

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2017
In the communication engineering practice,it often needs to estimate the unknown samples which are missing with the limited samples, then the interpolation operation is needed.Based on the research of cubic spline interpolation, the validity was given in ...

Evolutionarily divergent DUF4465 domains have a common vitamin B12‐binding function

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We show that DUF4465 family proteins, widespread across bacteria from gut microbiomes, hydrothermal vents, and soil, share a common vitamin B12‐binding function. These augmented β‐jellyroll proteins bind vitamin B12 via extended loops. Our findings establish sequence‐diverse DUF4465 proteins as a widespread class of B12‐binding proteins, highlighting ...

Interpolation between H^p spaces and non-commutative generalizations, I

open access: yes, 1991
We give an elementary proof that the $H^p$ spaces over the unit disc (or the upper half plane) are the interpolation spaces for the real method of interpolation between $H^1$ and $H^\infty$. This was originally proved by Peter Jones.

Visual Recovery Reflects Cortical MeCP2 Sensitivity in Rett Syndrome

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Rett syndrome (RTT) is a devastating neurodevelopmental disorder with developmental regression affecting motor, sensory, and cognitive functions. Sensory disruptions contribute to the complex behavioral and cognitive difficulties and represent an important target for therapeutic interventions.

Operators from Banach spaces to complex interpolation spaces [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1970
Given a closed linear operator A A with dense domain in a Banach space X X , M. Schechter [4] utilized the Lebesgue integral to construct a family of bounded linear operators from X X to the Calderón complex interpolation space ( X , D ( A )

Clustering Algorithm Reveals Dopamine‐Motor Mismatch in Cognitively Preserved Parkinson's Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To explore the relationship between dopaminergic denervation and motor impairment in two de novo Parkinson's disease (PD) cohorts. Methods n = 249 PD patients from Parkinson's Progression Markers Initiative (PPMI) and n = 84 from an external clinical cohort.
