The probabilistic nature of McShane's identity: planar tree coding of simple loops

open access: yes, 2017
In this article, we discuss a probabilistic interpretation of McShane's identity as describing a finite measure on the space of embedded paths though a point.Comment: 25 ...

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Symplectically Covariant Schr\"{o}dinger Equation in Phase Space

open access: yes, 2005
A classical theorem of Stone and von Neumann says that the Schr\"{o}dinger representation is, up to unitary equivalences, the only irreducible representation of the Heisenberg group on the Hilbert space of square-integrable functions on configuration ...

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Spinal Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma Mimicking Epidural Hematoma

open access: yesJournal of the Belgian Society of Radiology, 2022
A patient, recently diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma, presented with acute tetraplegia after surgical cervical lymph node biopsy. MRI of the cervical spine demonstrated an epidural space-occupying lesion with compressive myelopathy.

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Lingual-and-semiotic Text Interpretation and Its Potential for Translation Studies Development

open access: yesЗаписки з романо-германської філології, 2015
The paper studies linguosemiotic interpretation as a method of text analysis. The suggested linguosemiotic approach to the defining of the communicative process is based on the claim that it is the process of coding, decoding and recoding of sense ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Associative Experiment as a Method of Interpretation of Discourse

open access: yesДискурс Пи, 2018
Discursive space is represented as a fragment of linguistic picture of the world, in which there is an emerging conceptual image, fully manifested in the linguistic consciousness.
