L∞ cohomology is intersection cohomology

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematics
AbstractLet X be a subanalytic compact pseudomanifold. We show a de Rham theorem for L∞ forms on the nonsingular part of X. We prove that their cohomology is isomorphic to the intersection cohomology of X in the maximal perversity.

Canonical differential equations beyond genus one

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We discuss for the first time canonical differential equations for hyperelliptic Feynman integrals. We study hyperelliptic Lauricella functions that include in particular the maximal cut of the two-loop non-planar double box, which is known to involve a ...

Non-Clifford and Parallelizable Fault-Tolerant Logical Gates on Constant and Almost-Constant Rate Homological Quantum Low-Density Parity-Check Codes via Higher Symmetries

open access: yesPRX Quantum
We study parallel fault-tolerant quantum computing for families of homological quantum low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes defined on 3-manifolds with constant or almost-constant encoding rate.

Towards a combinatorial intersection cohomology for fans [PDF]

open access: yesComptes Rendus de l'Académie des Sciences - Series I - Mathematics, 2000
The real intersection cohomology of a toric variety is described in a purely combinatorial way using methods of elementary commutative algebra only. We define, for arbitrary fans, the notion of a ``minimal extension sheaf'' on the fan as an axiomatic characterization of the equivariant intersection cohomology sheaf.

Intersection cohomology of circle actions

open access: yes, 2004
A classical result says that a free action of the circle $\Bbb{S}^1$ on a topological space $X$ is geometrically classified by the orbit space $B$ and by a cohomological class ${H}^{^{2}}{(B,\Bbb{Z})}$, the Euler class. When the action is not free we have a difficult open question: $ $ : "Is the space $X$ determined by the orbit space $B$ and the ...

Intersection space cohomology of three-strata pseudomanifolds [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Topology and Analysis, 2019
The theory of intersection spaces assigns cell complexes to certain stratified topological pseudomanifolds depending on a perversity function in the sense of intersection homology. The main property of the intersection spaces is Poincaré duality over complementary perversities for the reduced singular (co)homology groups with rational coefficients ...

Quantum cohomology of complete intersections

open access: yes, 1995
The quantum cohomology algebra of a projective manifold X is the cohomology H(X,Q) endowed with a different algebra structure, which takes into account the geometry of rational curves in X. We show that this algebra takes a remarkably simple form for complete intersections when the dimension is large enough w.r.t. the degree.
