ABSTRACT Understanding the chemical and behavioural ecology of the Neotropical brown stink bug, Euschistus heros (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae), is essential for developing effective integrated pest management (IPM) strategies in South American soybean production. This study investigated the courtship behaviour and diel periodicity of sex pheromone emission.

ABSTRACT Within the subfamily Heliothinae, the genus Helicoverpa comprises several highly destructive agricultural pests, including H. armigera, H. assulta, H. punctigera and H. zea. These species cause significant global crop losses due to their wide host range, long‐distance migratory behaviour, and potential for interspecific hybridization.

Abstract This study reports three cases of pigmentation disorders in Squalus acanthias from the Gulf of Venice. Two specimens exhibited spotless phenotypes, whereas one exhibited hypermelanism. Morphological assessments were conducted for two individuals, alongside genetic analysis of mitochondrial genes to determine phylogeographic relationships. Both

Abstract A new species of Pyrrhulina is described based on morphological and molecular evidence. Pyrrhulina punctata is distinguished from all congeners by the presence of a series of 7 to 16 irregular blotches of dark pigmentation on the flanks, equally marked in juveniles and adult specimens, the presence of 26–28 lateral‐line scales, 17–21 maxillary
