Optical interstellar lines in dark clouds [PDF]

open access: yes, 1973
Observations of the equivalent widths and radial velocities of the interstellar lines of Ca ii, Na i, CH, and CH^+ are presented for 30 stars. A special effort was made to observe stars behind or within dense clouds with up to 3 mag of absorption.

Photographic Photometry of NGC 6866

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical and Fundamental Sciences, 2019
. Magnitudes and colors in the UBV photometric system have been determined for 575 stars in and around NGC 6866. The color-color relation of the cluster stars provides an estimate of interstellar reddening of 0.16 mag. The distance of cluster is found to

Observational Evidence of Dust Evolution in Supernova Remnants: Size Redistribution toward Larger Grains in the Early Sedov Phase

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal Letters
Recent observations have revealed that dust is widespread and abundant in galaxies up to z  ≃ 8, significantly influencing their appearance and spectral properties.

Connecting Dust and Outflows in Active Galactic Nuclei: The Intriguing Case of NGC 6860

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
Cosmic dust plays a crucial role in the evolution of galaxies, significantly influencing star formation and the interstellar medium. However, in active galactic nuclei (AGNs), the role and origin of dust remain poorly understood.
