Interstellar reddening near the north galactic pole

Publications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific, 1972
Color excesses are obtained for 182 B-, A-, and F-type stars within about 20 degrees of the north galactic pole with the aid of BV, uvby , and (khg) photometry. The average value of the reddening in the vicinity of the pole is found to be 0"?0O0::::: 0.002.

The interstellar reddening of the globular cluster 47 Tuc.

Publications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific, 1975
We have estimated the interstellar reddening in front of 47 Tue by observations of 26 foreground A- and F-type stars. The result is E(b- y) = 0021. The zero point may be uncertain by as much as .
