Macrophage TRIM21 Inhibition Ameliorates Murine Acute Pancreatitis via PHB2‐Mediated Mitochondrial Stabilization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Macrophage‐derived TRIM21 drives the progression of AP via ubiquitin‐proteasome‐mediated degradation of PHB2, leading to impaired PHB2‐mediated mitophagy. Therefore, accumulation of cytosolic mtDNA hyperactivates the cGAS‐STING signaling axis, thereby amplifying inflammatory cascades.

Prognostic significance of tumor microenvironment assessed by machine learning algorithm in surgically resected non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesCancer Reports, EarlyView., 2023
Abstract Background A methodology to assess the immune microenvironment (IME) of non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) has not been established, and the prognostic impact of IME factors is not yet clear. Aims This study aimed to assess the IME factors and evaluate their prognostic values. Methods and Results We assessed CD8+ tumor‐infiltrating lymphocyte (

Cytokine‐Engineered Chimeric Antigen Receptor‐T Cell Therapy: How to Balance the Efficacy and Toxicity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Cytokine‐engineered CAR‐T cells represent a promising immunotherapy against malignancies due to direct tumor killing and potent immunity response. However, significant toxicities, including CRS and ICANS, have restricted clinical applications. How to keep the risk‐benefit balance of the advanced therapy is of great importance for maximizing the benefit

Candidate gene polymorphisms associated with silicosis and coal workers’ pneumoconiosis: a systematic review and meta-analysis

open access: yesBMC Pulmonary Medicine
Background Silicosis and coal worker’s pneumoconiosis primarily result from exposure to silica and coal dust. Despite similar exposure levels, individuals exhibit varying responses.

Classification of interstitial lung disease patterns with topological texture features

open access: yes, 2010
Topological texture features were compared in their ability to classify morphological patterns known as 'honeycombing' that are considered indicative for the presence of fibrotic interstitial lung diseases in high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT ...

CD147/Basigin: From Integrative Molecular Hub to Translational Therapeutic Target

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review conceptualizes CD147 as a fundamental “Energy‐Structure Coupler,” physically bridging metabolic flux (via MCTs) with morphogenetic plasticity (via integrins/MMPs) to drive cancer, infection, and autoimmunity. Addressing the “specificity paradox” that limits current translation, the authors chart a strategic roadmap—spanning logic‐gated ...
