A novel carbon dots material (BUL‐CDs) with an initial afterglow brightness (406 cd m−2) far exceeding that of other afterglow luminescent materials was developed. Furthermore, the BUL‐CDs exhibited time‐dependent afterglow colors, excitation‐dependent afterglow colors, and thermochromic afterglow in response to triplet variables.

Dissipation and dynamics in ultrafast intersystem crossings
The effects of dynamics and dissipation on ultrafast intersystem crossings are studied for a dissipative two-level system coupled to a local vibronic mode. A method of amplitude damping of the wave packet is presented that accounts better for the position of the wave packet and avoids spurious transitions between potential wells.

Thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) materials with high photoluminescence quantum yields and a fast reverse intersystem crossing (RISC) are of the highest interest for organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). In the past decade, triaryl boranes

Reverse intersystem crossing mechanisms in doped triangulenes
Electronic structure calculations suggest that reverse intersystem crossing in B and N-doped triangulenes can occur via both direct (spin–orbit coupling) and mediated (spin–vibronic coupling) mechanisms.

Dibenzazepine Bridged Network Polymeric Phthalocyanines as Degradable Heterogeneous Photocatalysts
Dibenzazepine photodynamic bridge has been introduced to zinc and cobalt networks phthalocyanines (NP‐Pcs) to obtain degradable heterogeneous photocatalysts. For the first time, light irradiation plays a key role in “design, use and degradation” of NP‐Pcs.

Attenuated fluorescence of organic fluorescent probes is typically observed in hydrophilic environments due to solvatochromic fluorescence quenching, where the brightness decreases along with increasing solvent polarity.

Photochemical afterglow of single organic molecules with wide‐range tunable lifetime
“All‐in‐one” strategy was used to achieve photochemical afterglow in single organic molecule, with second‐to‐hour range tunable lifetime by tailoring the electron‐withdrawing ability of substituents. Abstract Background Photochemical afterglow that relies on slow release of photons from the chemical energy stored by light pre‐irradiation has emerged as

Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence (TADF) is widely exploited to achieve high‐efficiency OLEDs. TADF Emitters are normally investigated with transient photoluminescence (PL), which requires the PL to be detected over multiple orders of magnitude in time and intensity.
