SUMMARY Lithophyllum Philippi (Corallinales, Corallinophycidae, Rhodophyta) is a diverse genus of non‐geniculate coralline algae. Lithophyllum neo‐okamurae and L. okamurae are commonly found in the intertidal and subtidal zones of Jeju Island, Korea, where they contribute to local benthic communities.

<i>Planes</i> on a Snake? On the Identities of Crab Larvae Rafting on Sea Snakes. [PDF]
We sequenced COI and 16S rRNA genes from 106 crab megalopae found rafting on the pelagic sea snake Hydrophis platurus to test whether they were the obligate rafting species Planes minutus. Instead, all larvae belonged to three inter‐ to supratidal grapsid crabs—Pachygrapsus socius, Goniopsis pulchra, and Grapsus grapsus—revealing no evidence of Planes.
