Intuitionistic Fuzzy set (IFS) was proposed in early 80™s. It is a well known theory. As a developer in Fuzzy Mathematics, interval" valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy sets (IVFS) were developed afterwards by Gargo and Atanssov. It has a wide range of applications in the field of Optimization and algebra.

Entropy and Subsethood for General Interval-Valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets
2005In this paper, we mainly extend entropy and subsethood from intuitionistic fuzzy sets to general interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets, propose a definition of entropy and subsethood , offer a function of entropy and construct a class of subsethood function.

In the paper we show our perspective on some differences between Atanassov’s intuitionistic fuzzy sets (A-IFSs, for short) and Interval-valued fuzzy sets (IVFSs, for short). First, we present some standard operators and extensions for the A-IFSs which have no counterparts for IVFSs.

Two operators on interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets. I
1994The Interval-Valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets (IVIFSs) [the reviewer and \textit{G. Gargov}, Fuzzy Sets Syst. 31, No. 3, 343--349 (1989; Zbl 0674.03017)] are extensions of the Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets (IFSs) [the reviewer, ibid. 20, 87--96 (1986; Zbl 0631.03040)] and Interval-Valued Fuzzy Sets (IVFSs). Let \(X \neq \emptyset\) be a given universe.
