Reliable H∞ control for discrete-time piecewise linear systems with infinite distributed delays [PDF]
In this paper, the reliable H∞ control problem is investigated for discrete-time piecewise linear systems with time delays and actuator failures. The time delays are assumed to be infinitely distributed in the discrete-time domain, and the possible ...

Systems of linear interval equations
This highly interesting paper contains an extensive discussion of the problem of finding the interval hull of the solution set of linear interval equations, i.e. the narrowest interval vector containing the set of all solutions of \(Ax=b\) where the coefficients of A and b range over prescribed intervals. Various necessary and sufficient conditions are

Clinical Insights Into Hypercalcemia of Malignancy in Childhood
ABSTRACT Hypercalcemia of malignancy (HCM) is a rare but life‐threatening metabolic emergency in children that occurs in less than 1% of pediatric cancer cases, with a reported incidence ranging from 0.4% to 1.0% across different studies. While it is observed in 10%–20% of adult malignancies, pediatric HCM remains relatively uncommon.

Stabilization for switched linear systems: Hybrid observer‐based method
This paper investigates interval observer‐based controller design for switched linear systems involving additional disturbance and measurement noise, whose modes need not to be cooperative.

Exponentially Stable Interval Observers for Linear Systems with Delay [PDF]
This paper focuses on the analysis and the design of families of interval observers for linear systems with a point-wise delay. First, it is proved that classical interval observers for systems without delays are not robust with respect to the presence of delays, no matter how small delays are.

Generic perturbations of linear integrable Hamiltonian systems [PDF]
In this paper, we investigate perturbations of linear integrable Hamiltonian systems, with the aim of establishing results in the spirit of the KAM theorem (preservation of invariant tori), the Nekhoroshev theorem (stability of the action variables for a

Interval Observers for Linear Impulsive Systems
The problem of interval observer design is studied for a class of linear hybrid systems. Several observers are designed oriented on different conditions of positivity and stability for estimation error dynamics. Efficiency of the proposed approach is demonstrated by computer experiments for academic and bouncing ball systems.

Outcomes of Live Virus Vaccination in Patients With Vascular Anomalies Being Treated With Sirolimus
ABSTRACT Background Live vaccination in patients with vascular anomalies (VA) receiving sirolimus remains controversial due to immunosuppressive effects and theoretical risks. Procedure This single‐center retrospective study included patients with VA less than 4 years old at the start of sirolimus therapy who were incompletely vaccinated.

Interval observers design for systems with ostensible Metzler system matrices
This paper attempts to resolve the problem concerning the interval observers design for linear systems with ostensible Metzler system matrices. Because system dynamics matrices are partially different from strictly Metzler structures, a solution is ...
