Number of zeros of interval polynomials
AbstractIn this paper, we develop a rigorous algorithm for counting the real interval zeros of polynomials with perturbed coefficients that lie within a given interval, without computing the roots of any polynomials. The result generalizes Sturm’s Theorem for counting the roots of univariate polynomials to univariate interval polynomials.

ABSTRACT In 2018, the Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Center Leukemia Program implemented a practice standard to support the transition from treatment to survivorship that includes shared, alternating care between leukemia and survivorship clinicians and a reminder to refer survivors to the long‐term survivor clinic (LTSC) 2 years after ...

Health Literacy, Self‐Efficacy and Knowledge of Sickle Cell Disease Among Caregivers
ABSTRACT Background Sickle cell disease (SCD) is a hereditary blood disorder in which abnormal haemoglobin leads to severe anaemia, painful crises and organ failure. Caregivers’ health literacy (HL) – their ability to assess, understand and apply information, and interact with healthcare professionals – is crucial for managing children with SCD, yet ...

The number of primes in a short interval. [PDF]
This is a substantive paper on the difficult problem on primes in a short interval. The main result is: Let \(0\leq \varepsilon (x)\leq 1/12\). Then \[ \pi (x)-\pi (x-y)=\frac{y}{\log x}\left\{1+O\left(\varepsilon (x)^ 4\right)+O\left(\left(\frac{\log \log x}{\log x}\right)^ 4\right)\right\} \] uniformly for \(x^{7/12-\varepsilon (x)}\leq y\leq x/\log^

ABSTRACT Background Leukemia is the most common childhood cancer in Mexico, and acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is the most frequent subtype. Exposure to high concentrations of benzene has been associated with ALL incidence, particularly in urban areas. This study evaluated the relationship between distance to benzene emission sources and the number

New Inner Product Quasilinear Spaces on Interval Numbers
Primarily we examine the new example of quasilinear spaces, namely, “IRn interval space.” We obtain some new theorems and results related to this new quasilinear space.

Re‐Irradiation in Pediatric Diffuse Midline Glioma: A Multi‐Institutional Retrospective Study
ABSTRACT Background Children with recurrent diffuse midline gliomas (DMGs) have limited therapeutic options at recurrence. Re‐irradiation (RT2) may be used at progression, but with uncertainty about the benefit. Methods We conducted a multi‐institutional retrospective study of children aged < 18 with DMG treated at three centers (Toronto, Canada ...
