Inter-Repetition Interval in Short-Term Motor Memory

Perceptual and Motor Skills, 1975
An investigation was conducted to ascertain the influence of the duration of the time interval between successive repetitions of a discrete motor movement in a short-term motor memory paradigm. With one repetition a long interval increased error relative to a short interval.

Interdependence of Beach Fill Volumes and Repetition Intervals

Journal of Waterway, Port, Coastal, and Ocean Engineering, 1994
Shore protection by beach nourishment is an environmentally favored method but is dependent on the availability of sand and its cost. Therefore, in order to save on cost and sand resources it is essential to keep the annual sand requirement for nourishment to a minimum.

Radar Signal Sorting Algorithm Based on Pulse Repetition Interval

2020 5th International Conference on Electromechanical Control Technology and Transportation (ICECTT), 2020
With the continuous enhancement of military strength in various countries, electronic warfare in modern battlefields has become increasingly fierce. More and more signal transmitting devices appear in the battlefield environment, causing the number of signals intercepted by the signal receiver to increase exponentially, which brings severe challenges ...

Hand Asymmetries in Interresponse Intervals During Rapid Repetitive Finger Tapping

Journal of Motor Behavior, 1988
Interresponse intervals (IRIs) were recorded as 8 right-handed male subjects tapped a key separately with the index finger of each hand as fast as possible for twenty 10-s runs. Frequency distributions of the IRIs produced by each hand showed that the shorter mean IRI that is usually reported for preferred-hand tapping is a result of a systematic ...

Recognition of stagger pulse repetition interval for electronic support systems

2012 20th Signal Processing and Communications Applications Conference (SIU), 2012
Stagger Pulse Repetition Interval (PRI) modulation has been widely used in radar systems. Stagger PRI modulation is hard to recognize because it has the same characteristics with jitter PRI modulation. Electronic support systems have to work with spurious and missing pulses due to hard environment conditions.

Effect of Interrepetition Rest Intervals on Weight Training Repetition Power Output

The Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research, 2006
The purpose of this study was to determine the change in weight training repetition power output as a consequence of interrepetition rest intervals. Twenty-six elite junior male basketball and soccer players performed bench presses using a 6 repetition maximum (6RM) load. The power output for each repetition was recorded using a linear encoder sampling

Classification of Pulse Repetition Interval Modulations Using Neural Networks

2018 IEEE Symposium Series on Computational Intelligence (SSCI), 2018
Repetition Intervals (PRI)-the distances between consecutive times of arrival of radar pulses-are important characteristics that help identify the emitting source. The recognition of various PRI modulation types under the assumption of missing and spurious pulses is a classical yet challenging problem.

Discrimination of repetitive intervals by younger and older listeners.

The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 2010
The study measured listener sensitivity to increments in the inter-onset intervals (IOIs) separating successive 20-ms 4000-Hz tone bursts in isochronous sequences. Stimulus sequences contained from 2–6 tone bursts, separated equally by IOIs in the range of 25–100 ms across stimulus conditions.

Effect of Retention Interval on the Cue Repetition Effect

The American Journal of Psychology, 1985
Cue repetition can interfere with cued recall (Overton & Adolphson, 1979). In two experiments we showed that in agreement with a contextual change hypothesis this effect is reduced when the interval between the repetition of the cue and the test is lengthened.

Comprehensive Review of Pulse Repetitions Interval (PRI) Classification Schemes

2019 Sixth International Conference on Aerospace Science and Engineering (ICASE), 2019
This research is focused on comprehensive analysis of the Pulse Repetition Interval (PRI) Classification schemes; applied to the intercepted pulses by an Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) receiver / Radar Warning Receiver. The intercepted pulse train is interleaved in time; these pulses are first pre-sorted on the basis of some fundamental parameters of ...
