Resolution of an infected intracardiac thrombus
Journal of Pediatric Surgery, 1989A 12-month-old patient had complete resolution of a central venous, catheter-related, infected intracardiac thrombus after 6 weeks of antibiotics, aspirin, and dipyridamole. Serial echocardiography documented the progressive decrease in thrombus size.

Intracardiac thrombus in antiphospholipid antibody syndrome
Journal of the American Society of Echocardiography, 2000In this report we describe the case of a 19-year-old woman who had right-sided hemiparesis. In search of a source of embolism, we performed transthoracic echocardiography, which showed a large, complex, and irregular multilobulated left ventricle mass adherent to the endocardial surface.
