ABSTRACT Background Pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is characterized by its poor prognosis. Cytology is essential for diagnostic confirmation and ancillary studies. The endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) set a precedent, facilitating cytological sampling through fine‐needle aspiration (FNA), with a sensitivity of 93% and a specificity of 95%.

Pancreatic cancer has the poorest prognosis among all cancer types. Intraductal Papillary Mucinous Neoplasms (IPMNs) are radiographically identifiable precursors to pancreatic cancer; hence, early detection and precise risk assessment of IPMN are vital ...

The Dual Role of Autophagy in Cancer: Mechanisms and Therapeutic Strategies
Autophagy is a conserved cellular process degrading dysfunctional organelles and protein aggregates to maintain cell homeostasis, and it exhibits context‐dependent duality in cancer. Autophagy functions as a critical tumor‐suppressive mechanism by preventing DNA damage and mutation during tumor initiation.

Management of Branch‐duct Intraductal Papillary Mucinous Neoplasms: A Large Single Center Study to Assess Predictors of Malignancy and Long Term Outcomes [PDF]
Background and Aims Management of branch-duct intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms (BD-IPMNs) remains challenging. We determined factors associated with malignancy in BD-IPMNs and long-term outcomes.

Differentiating intrahepatic CCA from PDAC metastatic to the liver is critical for the clinical management of patients with pancreatobiliary cancers. AQP1 has demonstrated an excellent discriminatory performance in this clinical scenario. Aims Differentiating intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (iCCA) from metastatic ductal adenocarcinoma of the pancreas ...
