Intraductal Papillary Neoplasms of the Bile Duct [PDF]
Intraductal papillary neoplasm of the bile duct (IPNB) is a rare variant of bile duct tumors characterized by papillary growth within the bile duct lumen and is regarded as a biliary counterpart of intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm of the pancreas. IPNBs display a spectrum of premalignant lesion towards invasive cholangiocarcinoma.

Intraductal papillary neoplasm of the bile duct [PDF]
Intraductal papillary neoplasm of the bile duct is characterized by intraductal papillary growth with fibrovascular cores that can grow anywhere along the biliary tree. Most cases have high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia or an associated invasive carcinoma.

A case of hepatic intraductal papillary neoplasm of the bile duct [PDF]
In this report, we present a 57-year-old female with a history of mild alcoholic liver disease during a medical check-up. Abdominal computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging showed a multicystic mass with a solid enhancing mural nodule in the right lobe of the liver.

A case of intraductal papillary neoplasm of the bile duct suspected to be of peribiliary glands origin. [PDF]
Abstract Peribiliary glands are complex lobular structures containing mucus and serous glands, distributed along the extrahepatic and intrahepatic bile ducts. In this report, we describe a case of intraductal papillary neoplasm of the bile duct suspected to be of peribiliary glands origin.

A Case of Intraductal Papillary Neoplasm of the Bile Duct with Stromal Invasion [PDF]
Intraductal papillary neoplasm of the bile duct (IPNB) represents biliary papillary tumors mainly growing and is considered to be of relatively low-grade malignancy. Here we report a case of IPNB in whom the poorly differentiated component deeply infiltrated the bile duct wall. A 77-year-old male had an invasive carcinoma of the bile duct 3 cm in size.

Clinicopathological Study of Resections of Intraductal Papillary Neoplasm of the Bile Duct [PDF]
The aim of this study was to examine the clinicopathological features of intraductal papillary neoplasm of the bile duct (IPNB) and investigate their relationships with intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm (IPMN).Our study included 104 patients who underwent resection of tumors that showed papillary growth within the bile duct and pancreas ...

Intraductal Papillary Neoplasm of the Bile Duct Mimicking a Cholangiocarcinoma [PDF]
The intraductal papillary neoplasm of the bile duct is a rare tumor considered one of the precursor lesions of cholangiocarcinoma. It is characterized by papillary growth within the bile duct lumen, occurring anywhere in the biliary tree. We report a case of a 70-year-old man who presented with a six-month history of weight loss and occasional choluria.

Mucin-hypersecreting bile duct neoplasm characterized by clinicopathological resemblance to intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm (IPMN) of the pancreas [PDF]
Background Although intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm (IPMN) of the pancreas is acceptable as a distinct disease entity, the concept of mucin-secreting biliary tumors has not been fully established.

Metachronous Intraductal Papillary Neoplasm of the Bile Duct and Intraductal Papillary Mucinous Neoplasm of the Pancreas in a Patient Diagnosed With Mucinous Adenocarcinoma. [PDF]
Intraductal papillary neoplasm of the bile duct (IPNB) is a rare biliary tumor, which shares some radiologic and histologic similarities with pancreatic intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm (IPMN).

Intraductal papillary neoplasm of the bile duct
Intraductal papillary neoplasm of the bile duct (IPNB) is a variant of bile duct carcinoma that is characterized by intraductal growth and better outcomes compared with common cholangiocarcinoma. IPNBs are mainly found in patients from Far Eastern areas, where hepatolithiasis and clonorchiasis are endemic.
