Decentration and Tilt of Intraocular Lens after Posterior Capsulotomy
Seminars in Ophthalmology, 2018To assess the effect of posterior capsular opacification (PCO) and Neodymium-doped:Yttrium Aluminium Garnet (Nd:YAG) laser capsulotomy on tilt and decentration of intraocular lens (IOL) at vertical and horizontal meridians. The study included 64 eyes of 64 patients.

A geometry method for evaluating the values of intraocular lens tilt and decentration
2011 4th International Conference on Biomedical Engineering and Informatics (BMEI), 2011PURPOSE: To propose a new method to evaluate the values of intraocular lens (IOL) tilt and decentration with anterior segment optical coherence tomography (AS-OCT). METHODS: Based on postoperative anterior segment images of IOL from two patients, the values of IOL tilt and decentration were evaluated through curve fitting, image registration and basic ...

Risk Factors Associated With Intraocular Lens Decentration After Cataract Surgery
American Journal of Ophthalmology, 2022To identify risk factors associated with intraocular lens (IOL) decentration after uneventful phacoemulsification with IOL implantation.A prospective cohort study. All patients underwent a general ophthalmologic examination. One month postoperatively, the magnitude and orientation of IOL decentration relative to the visual axis center were assessed ...

Subjective and Objective Diplopia Caused by Intraocular Lens Decentration
European Journal of Implant and Refractive Surgery, 1992OBJECTIVES: (1) To describe a case in which subjective diplopia (and objective diplopia on fundus biomicroscopy) resulted from decentration of a posterior chamber intraocular lens (IOL) following extracapsular cataract extraction with IOL implantation. (2) To discuss ways of avoiding this complication.

In Vivo Measurement of Posterior Chamber Intraocular Lens Decentration and Tilt
JAMA Ophthalmology, 1990We report what to our knowledge is the first extensive in vivo clinical study of intraocular lens decentration and tilt. Measurements of posterior chamber intraocular lenses, all implanted by the same surgeon in 89 eyes, showed that decentration and tilt consistently differed between right and left eyes.

Capsular phimosis with intraocular lens tilt and decentration
Journal of Cataract & Refractive Surgery, 2023A 34-year-old woman with quiescent bilateral intermediate uveitis maintained on once-daily dexamethasone 0.1% eyedrops, complicated by left cataract and glaucoma controlled with a single antiglaucoma medication, presented for cataract surgery. Her left corrected distance visual acuity (CDVA) was 20/40 because of a posterior subcapsular lens opacity ...

numerical evaluation of intraocular lens decentration
Acta Ophthalmologica, 2022AbstractPurpose: Numerical evaluation of the performance under decentering of an extended depth of focus (EDOF) bisegmented design intraocular lens (IOL).Methods: The optical assessment of The FEMTIS Comfort EDOF‐IOL was evaluated with a ray tracing software using the Atchison model eye (Atchison 2006).

Measurement of intraocular lens decentration and tilt in vivo
Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, 1988A method for measuring the tilt and decentration of intraocular lenses (IOLs) in the static eye using the Purkinje image locations is presented. The patient fixates on a target that is coaxial with the camera or is at a predetermined angle with the camera axis.
