Current management of uveal melanoma: A review
Clinical &Experimental Ophthalmology, Volume 51, Issue 5, Page 484-494, July 2023., 2023 Abstract Uveal melanoma is the most frequent primary intraocular cancer in adulthood and is mostly localised to the choroid. It can be treated using radiation therapy, laser therapy, local resection and enucleation, with the best results achieved by combining these procedures. However, up to half of patients develop metastatic disease.
