Correlative Imaging Platform Linking Taste Cell Function to Molecular Identity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A correlative imaging platform is developed to study how individual taste cells respond to different taste qualities. By linking cellular activity with molecular identity and environmental context, dual‐tuned taste cells capable of detecting both sweet and umami stimuli are identified.

CDK4/6 Inhibition Induces CD8+ T Cell Antitumor Immunity via MIF‐Induced Functional Orchestration of Tumor‐Associated Macrophages

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CDK4/6 inhibition promotes CD8+ T cell expansion through tumor‐macrophage crosstalk by activating HIF‐1α and enhancing MIF‐CD44/CD74 signaling. This reprograms TAMs to boost MHC‐I antigen presentation, and CDK4/6 inhibitor‐trained M1 TAM supernatant therapy synergizes with low‐dose PD‐1 blockade to restore antitumor immunity.

Peritoneal Metastatic Gastric Cancer: Local Treatment Options and Recommendations

open access: yesCurrent Oncology
Peritoneal metastasis is a common finding in patients with advanced gastric cancer. Beyond systemic chemotherapy, additive local treatments such as cytoreductive surgery and intraperitoneal chemotherapy are considered an inherent part of different ...

Homoisoflavanone Delays Colorectal Cancer Progression via DNA Damage‐Induced Mitochondrial Apoptosis and Parthanatos‐Like Cell Death

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Homoisoflavanone (HIF), a bioactive compound isolated from Polygonatum kingianum, selectively suppresses colorectal cancer progression by inducing DNA damage‐mediated mitochondrial apoptosis and parthanatos‐like cell death. HIF triggers mitochondrial dysfunction, including depolarized membrane potential, elevated ROS, and ATP depletion, while impairing

rWTC‐MBTA Vaccine, Alone and Enhanced with Anti‐PD1, Elicits Immune Responses against CNS and Peripheral B‐Cell Lymphoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An autologous whole‐tumor‐cell vaccine (rWTC‐MBTA) is evaluated in murine CNS lymphoma. Subcutaneous vaccination activates dendritic cells, broadens T‐cell priming, and drives lymphocyte trafficking to brain tumors, producing durable tumor control. Longitudinal bioluminescence and adoptive‐transfer assays verify CNS engagement. Combination with anti‐PD‐

Elemene Augments the Effects of Anti‐PD‐1 Immunotherapy on Hepatocellular Carcinoma by Regulating the miR‐130a‐5p/SPP/MHC‐I Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Elemene increases SPP expression by competitively binding with miR‐130a‐5p to suppress SPP mRNA degradation. This led to more antigen/MHC‐I complexes being expressed on the cell surface, which consequently facilitated the recognition and killing of HCC cells by CTLs and enhancing the antitumor immune efficacy of anti‐PD‐1.
