Experimental Study on Capacitive Current Transfer Arc Suppression of Tree-line Discharge Fault in Distribution Network

open access: yesZhongguo dianli, 2022
The tree-line discharge faults of mountainous distribution networks may induce forest fires, so it is indispensable to study the low-cost and easy-to-control arc suppression measures for tree-line discharge faults in distribution networks.

Intrinsic Universality in Self-Assembly

open access: yes, 2010
We show that the Tile Assembly Model exhibits a strong notion of universality where the goal is to give a single tile assembly system that simulates the behavior of any other tile assembly system. We give a tile assembly system that is capable of simulating a very wide class of tile systems, including itself.

Phase coexistence far from equilibrium

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2016
Investigation of simple far-from-equilibrium systems exhibiting phase separation leads to the conclusion that phase coexistence is not well defined in this context.

Balanced partial entanglement and mixed state correlations

open access: yesSciPost Physics, 2022
Recently in Ref. [1], one of the authors introduced the balanced partial entanglement (BPE), which has been proposed to be dual to the entanglement wedge cross-section (EWCS). In this paper, we explicitly demonstrate that the BPE could be considered as a

Universal Scaling of Intrinsic Resistivity in Two‐Dimensional Metallic Borophene [PDF]

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, 2018
AbstractTwo‐dimensional boron sheets (borophenes) have been successfully synthesized in experiments and are expected to exhibit intriguing transport properties. A comprehensive first‐principles study is reported of the intrinsic electrical resistivity of emerging borophene structures.

The Two-Handed Tile Assembly Model Is Not Intrinsically Universal [PDF]

open access: yesAlgorithmica, 2013
The well-studied Two-Handed Tile Assembly Model (2HAM) is a model of tile assembly in which pairs of large assemblies can bind, or self-assemble, together. In order to bind, two assemblies must have matching glues that can simultaneously touch each other, and stick together with strength that is at least the temperature $ $, where $ $ is some fixed ...

CONCEPTUAL AND REGULATORY DELIMITATIONS OF THE PROFESSIONAL JUDGMENT WITHIN AN ECONOMIC ENVIRONMENT [PDF]

open access: yesChallenges of the Knowledge Society, 2017
The professional judgment is a base concept “sine-qua-non” within a company because it displays the intrinsic attribute for performing the activity. In our accepting, bringing together the determinant factors of the professional judgment and also the ...
