Viscometric study of high-cis polybutadiene in toluene solution

open access: yesJournal of the Brazilian Chemical Society, 2006
Viscometric measurements, in toluene solution at 30 ºC, were performed with high-cis polybutadiene synthesized by neodymium based catalyst. Six different equations were used to calculate intrinsic viscosities and viscosimetric constant values: Huggins ...

Enhancing Low‐Temperature Performance of Sodium‐Ion Batteries via Anion‐Solvent Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
DOL is introduced into electrolytes as a co‐solvent, increasing slat solubility, ion conductivity, and the de‐solvent process, and forming an anion‐rich solvent shell due to its high interaction with anion. With the above virtues, the batteries using this electrolyte exhibit excellent cycling stability at low temperatures. Abstract Sodium‐ion batteries

Intrinsic viscosity of rigid complex molecules [PDF]

open access: yesRheologica Acta, 1969
Both intrinsic viscosity formulae, for macromolecules ofn identical frictional elements and for those ofn different frictional elements are obtained by tensor calculation, without replacing theOseen tensor by its average over all orientations. The first formula corresponds to theKirkwood frictional coefficient formula.

Stretching the Printability Metric in Direct‐Ink Writing with Highly Extensible Yield‐Stress Fluids

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study introduces “drawability” as a new metric for assessing printability in direct‐ink writing, focusing on gap‐spanning performance and speed robustness. By designing yield‐stress fluids with high extensibility, we demonstrate that extensional strain‐to‐break significantly enhances printability.

Intrinsic viscosity of SiO

open access: yes, 2006
The viscosity of dilute suspensions of several metal oxides (SiO 2 , Al 2 O 3 and TiO 2 ) was measured at different pH values. The intrinsic viscosity, [η], was derived from the concentration dependence of the viscosity.

Mechanical Behavior and Fracture Mechanisms of MXene/PVDF Nanocomponsites: In Situ Characterization and Multiscale Analysis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Multiscale experiments and modeling reveal how Ti3C2Tx MXene nanosheets reinforce PVDF nanocomposites. An optimal MXene loading (∼1 wt.%) nearly doubles tensile strength through efficient stress transfer, flake alignment, and crack‐deflection mechanisms, transforming ductile polymer behavior into a controlled multi‐stage fracture pathway which aligns ...
