Parametrizations of triaxial deformation and E2 transitions of the wobbling band
By the very definition the triaxial deformation parameter $\gamma$ is related to the expectation values of the K=0 and K=2 components of the intrinsic quadrupole tensor operator.

Testing asteroseismology with Gaia DR2: Hierarchical models of the Red Clump [PDF]
Asteroseismology provides fundamental stellar parameters independent of distance, but subject to systematics under calibration. Gaia DR2 has provided parallaxes for a billion stars, which are offset by a parallax zero-point.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Intrinsic Spin Hall Conductivity of MoTe2 and WTe2 Semimetals
We report a comprehensive study on the intrinsic spin Hall conductivity (SHC) of semimetals MoTe2 and WTe2 by ab initio calculation. Large SHC and desirable spin Hall angles have been discovered, due to the strong spin orbit coupling effect and low ...

Optimizing the internal electric field distribution of alternating current driven organic light-emitting devices for a reduced operating voltage [PDF]
This work was funded with financial means of the European Social Fund and the Free State of Saxony through the OrthoPhoto project. The influence of the thickness of the insulating layer and the intrinsic organic layer on the driving voltage of p-i-n based

Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Dark Matter from a Classically Scale-Invariant $SU(3)_X$
In this work we study a classically scale-invariant extension of the Standard Model in which the dark matter and electroweak scales are generated through the Coleman-Weinberg mechanism.

AAA+ protein unfoldases—the Moirai of the proteome
AAA+ unfoldases are essential molecular motors that power protein degradation and disaggregation. This review integrates recent cryo‐electron microscopy (cryo‐EM) structures and single‐molecule biophysical data to reconcile competing models of substrate translocation.
