A Review on Soft Computing Technique in Intrusion Detection System [PDF]
Intrusion Detection System is significant in network security. It detects and identifies intrusion behavior or intrusion attempts in a computer system by monitoring and analyzing the network packets in real time.

Weakening the nuclear envelope: Lamin B receptor in melanoma metastasis
LBR‐driven nuclear fragility supports melanoma invasion. A: Melanocyte presents low LBR (Lamin B Receptor) levels, maintaining nuclear integrity and lamina‐chromatin tethering. B: During malignant progression, upregulation of LBR clusters at the INM (Inner Nuclear Membrane) during confined migration causes local lamina weakening and cholesterol ...

Artificial Intelligence-Based Intrusion Detection Techniques
Our increasing dependence on different types of networks leads us to make them more secure. Intrusion detection is very challenging in all of those networks. An Intrusion detection system (IDS) attempts to discover malicious activities in a network. More

Evolution of seawater intrusion in coastal aquifers of Pontina Plain (Italy)
In the last ten years it has been carried on a research project on the evolution of seawater intrusion in coastal aquifers of Pontina Plain (Italy). As a matter of fact groundwater in the coastal plain between Sabaudia and Terracina, south of Latina ...

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Intrusion detection issues to securing grid computing
Traditional Intrusion Detection System (IDSs) work in isolation from access control for the application the systems aim to protect. The lack of coordination an interoperation between these components prevents detecting sophisticated attacks and ...

BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Dense seismic network provides new insight into the 2007 Upptyppingar dyke intrusion
Factors such as network geometry, network size and phase-picking accuracy have significant effects on the precision of seismic hypocentre locations. In turn, the precision of the hypocentral locations dictates the degree to which morphological details ...
