Intuitionistic Fuzzy Inclusion Indicator of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets

2015
In this paper we introduce a measure for inclusion of two IFSs into each other according to the two main partial orderings in the family of IFSs. This inclusion measure will be observed on few levels. From a set-theoretical point of view, intuitionistic fuzzy point of view and ordinary fuzzy point of view.

Simplified interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets with intuitionistic fuzzy numbers

Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2016
There has been a growing interest and activity in the field of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IVIFSs). It is generally useful to express the variations of the membership function and the non-membership function in fuzzy circumstances. However, the IVIFS is a little bit complicated on expressions and calculations. To overcome this limitation,

A New Fuzzy Entropy for Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets

Fourth International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Knowledge Discovery (FSKD 2007), 2007
Fuzzy entropy is an important concept of intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs). In this paper, the resources of the entropy of an intuitionistic fuzzy set are analyzed. It is pointed out that the fuzzy entropy of an IFS comes from uncertainty and unknown information.

Bipolar Fuzzy Sets Are Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets

Proceedings of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences
In 1983 the Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets (IFSs) were introduced as an extension of Zadeh's fuzzy sets. Fifteen years later the Bipolar Fuzzy Sets (BFSs) were introduced as a new extension of fuzzy sets. In the article it is proved that each BFS can be transformed injectively or bijectively to an IFSs.

Systems on intuitionistic fuzzy special sets and intuitionistic fuzzy special measures

Information Sciences, 2000
On the base of the notions of intuitionistic fuzzy set (extension of the ordinary fuzzy set) [the reviewer, Fuzzy Sets Syst. 20, 87-96 (1986; Zbl 0631.03040)], intuitionistic fuzzy point, and intuitionistic fuzzy topological space [\textit{D. A correlation coefficient for intuitionistic fuzzy sets

International Journal of Intelligent Systems, 2004
Summary: Intuitionistic fuzzy sets are a generalization of the ordinary fuzzy sets in which we have both a membership function \(\mu\) and a nonmembership function \(\nu\). In this article we consider the problem of defining a correlation coefficient between two intuitionistic fuzzy sets.

Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets as a Generalization of Fuzzy Sets

2014
In the mid-1980s Atanassov introduced the concept of an intuitionistic fuzzy set. Basically, his idea was that unlike the conventional fuzzy sets in which imprecision is just modeled by the membership degree from [0,1], and for which the non-membership degree is just automatically the complementation to 1 of the membership degree, in an intuitionistic ...
