Systems on intuitionistic fuzzy special sets and intuitionistic fuzzy special measures

open access: yesInformation Sciences, 2000
On the base of the notions of intuitionistic fuzzy set (extension of the ordinary fuzzy set) [the reviewer, Fuzzy Sets Syst. 20, 87-96 (1986; Zbl 0631.03040)], intuitionistic fuzzy point, and intuitionistic fuzzy topological space [\textit{D. Çoker}, Turk. J. Math. 20, 343-351 (1996; Zbl 0862.04007); \textit{S. Özçag} and \textit{D. Çoker}, Int.

Fuzzy entropy on intuitionistic fuzzy sets

International Journal of Intelligent Systems, 2006
In this article we exploit the concept of probability for defining the fuzzy entropy of intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs). We then propose two families of entropy measures for IFSs and also construct the axiom definition and properties. Two definitions of entropy for IFSs proposed by Burillo and Bustince in 1996 and Szmidt and Kacprzyk in 2001 are used.

Intuitionistic fuzzy logic and intuitionistic fuzzy set theory

Journal of Symbolic Logic, 1984
In 1965 Zadeh introduced the concept of fuzzy sets. The characteristic of fuzzy sets is that the range of truth value of the membership relation is the closed interval [0, 1] of real numbers. The logical operations ⊃, ∼ on [0, 1] which are used for Zadeh's fuzzy sets seem to be Łukasiewciz's logic, where p ⊃ q = min(1, 1 − p + q), ∼ p = 1 − p. L.

A Fuzzy Set Corresponding to an Intuitionistic Fuzzy Set

International Journal of Uncertainty, Fuzziness and Knowledge-Based Systems, 1998
We propose a new approach to find a fuzzy set which corresponds to a given intuitionistic fuzzy set (Atanassov, 1986) in a certain sense. This will help extend a huge array of fuzzy properties, models, etc. available to the case of intuitionistic fuzzy sets.
