On intuitionistic fuzzy measures and the count of intuitionistic fuzzy sets
2013 IEEE International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Computing Research, 2013There have been three approaches to find the measures of fuzzy sets, which extend the count function for crisp sets. The first one is due to Deluca and Termini; second one a measure theoretic approach due to Zadeh and a bag theoretic approach due to Tripathy et al. Intuitionistic fuzzy sets are generalizations of fuzzy sets.

On the Intuitionistic Fuzzy Topological Structures of Rough Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets
2014A rough intuitionistic fuzzy set is the result of approximation of an intuitionistic fuzzy set with respect to a crisp approximation space. In this paper, we investigate topological structures of rough intuitionistic fuzzy sets. We first show that a reflexive crisp rough approximation space can induce an intuitionistic fuzzy Alexandrov space.

Intuitionistic Fuzzy Rough Set Based on the Cut Sets of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Set
2017In this paper, the triple valued fuzzy set is selected as the cut set of intuitionistic fuzzy set and four kinds of cut sets of intuitionistic fuzzy sets are selected to investigate the intuitionistic fuzzy rough set. The intuitionistic fuzzy rough set is constructed by using the representation theorem of intuitionistic fuzzy set, and it is proved to ...

Non–fuzzy sets for intuitionistic fuzzy sets
Journal of Discrete Mathematical Sciences and Cryptography, 2018AbstractWe examine an important paper of Gerstenkorn and Manko that was published in Fuzzy Sets and Systems. Their paper is the pioneer for correlation coefficient similarity measure. We point out several questionable results and then provide our improvement that will useful to develop theoretical structure for similarity measures under intuitionistic ...

The logarithmic operational laws of intuitionistic fuzzy sets and intuitionistic fuzzy numbers
Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2017Intuitionistic fuzzy set (IFS) is an extension of fuzzy set. The basic element of an IFS is the ordered pair called intuitionistic fuzzy number (IFN). So far, some basic operational laws of IFNs are defined, but not including the logarithmic operation. In this paper, a logarithmic operational law about IFNs is defined, in which the

Simplified interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets with intuitionistic fuzzy numbers
Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2016There has been a growing interest and activity in the field of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IVIFSs). It is generally useful to express the variations of the membership function and the non-membership function in fuzzy circumstances. However, the IVIFS is a little bit complicated on expressions and calculations. To overcome this limitation,

Intuitionistic Fuzzy Inclusion Indicator of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets
2015In this paper we introduce a measure for inclusion of two IFSs into each other according to the two main partial orderings in the family of IFSs. This inclusion measure will be observed on few levels. From a set-theoretical point of view, intuitionistic fuzzy point of view and ordinary fuzzy point of view.

A New Fuzzy Entropy for Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets
Fourth International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Knowledge Discovery (FSKD 2007), 2007Fuzzy entropy is an important concept of intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs). In this paper, the resources of the entropy of an intuitionistic fuzzy set are analyzed. It is pointed out that the fuzzy entropy of an IFS comes from uncertainty and unknown information.

Bipolar Fuzzy Sets Are Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets
Proceedings of the Bulgarian Academy of SciencesIn 1983 the Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets (IFSs) were introduced as an extension of Zadeh's fuzzy sets. Fifteen years later the Bipolar Fuzzy Sets (BFSs) were introduced as a new extension of fuzzy sets. In the article it is proved that each BFS can be transformed injectively or bijectively to an IFSs.
