Distances between intuitionistic fuzzy sets [PDF]

open access: possibleFuzzy Sets and Systems, 2000
A new geometric interpretation and new distances of intuitionistic fuzzy sets [\textit{K. T. Atanassov}, ``Intuitionistic fuzzy sets'', Fuzzy Sets Syst. 20, 87-96 (1986; Zbl 0631.03040); Intuitionistic fuzzy sets. Theory and applications. Physica-Verlag, Heidelberg (1999; Zbl 0939.03057)] are introduced. These new concepts are well illustrated.

A Note on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets, Interval Valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets and Picture Fuzzy Sets

2020
In the present paper we consider intuitionistic fuzzy sets, interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets and picture fuzzy sets. We discuss the similarities and differences between them.

Non–fuzzy sets for intuitionistic fuzzy sets

Journal of Discrete Mathematical Sciences and Cryptography, 2018
AbstractWe examine an important paper of Gerstenkorn and Manko that was published in Fuzzy Sets and Systems. Their paper is the pioneer for correlation coefficient similarity measure. We point out several questionable results and then provide our improvement that will useful to develop theoretical structure for similarity measures under intuitionistic ...

On the Temporal Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets

2022
The Temporal Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets (TIFSs) are one of the essential extensions of the ordinary Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets (IFSs). For them different operations, relations and operators (from modal, topological and level-types) have been defined and their basic properties have been studied.

Intuitionistic Fuzzy Rough Set Based on the Cut Sets of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Set

2017
In this paper, the triple valued fuzzy set is selected as the cut set of intuitionistic fuzzy set and four kinds of cut sets of intuitionistic fuzzy sets are selected to investigate the intuitionistic fuzzy rough set. The intuitionistic fuzzy rough set is constructed by using the representation theorem of intuitionistic fuzzy set, and it is proved to ...

Fuzzy entropy on intuitionistic fuzzy sets

International Journal of Intelligent Systems, 2006
In this article we exploit the concept of probability for defining the fuzzy entropy of intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs). We then propose two families of entropy measures for IFSs and also construct the axiom definition and properties. Two definitions of entropy for IFSs proposed by Burillo and Bustince in 1996 and Szmidt and Kacprzyk in 2001 are used.

Distance Measures for Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets and Interval Valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets

2019 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (FUZZ-IEEE), 2019
Following the importance of distance measures in pattern classification, and their application to many kinds of data, crisp, fuzzy, etc, distance measures between intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs) are proposed and generalized to distances between interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IVIFSs).

On matching of intuitionistic fuzzy sets

Information Sciences, 2020
Abstract In the paper, we describe the new measure of matching two intuitionistic fuzzy sets. The operations known in the intuitionistic fuzzy set theory are used, and the perturbation of one intuitionistic fuzzy set by another intuitionistic fuzzy set is understood as an impact of one intuitionistic fuzzy set on another intuitionistic fuzzy set ...

Intuitionistic Fuzzy Inclusion Indicator of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets

2015
In this paper we introduce a measure for inclusion of two IFSs into each other according to the two main partial orderings in the family of IFSs. This inclusion measure will be observed on few levels. From a set-theoretical point of view, intuitionistic fuzzy point of view and ordinary fuzzy point of view.
