Similarity measures on intuitionistic fuzzy sets

Pattern Recognition Letters, 2003
Summary: Intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs), proposed by Atanassov, have gained attention from researchers for their applications in various fields. Then similarity measures between IFSs were developed. In this paper, firstly, some existing measures of similarity are reviewed.

Circular intuitionistic fuzzy sets

Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2020
In this paper an extension of the Intuitionistic Fuzzy Set called Circular Intuitionistic Fuzzy Set is introduced and studied. Some of the relations and operations over C-IFS are established.

Fuzzy rough sets are intuitionistic L-fuzzy sets

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 1998
The concepts of intuitionistic \(L\)-fuzzy sets (IL-FS) [see \textit{K. Atanassov} and \textit{S. Stoeva}, ``Intuitionistic \(L\)-fuzzy sets'', in: R. Trappl (ed.), Cybernetics and systems research 2, 539-540 (1984; Zbl 0547.03030)], which are extensions of the IFSs [\textit{K. T. Atanassov}, ``Intuitionistic fuzzy sets'', Fuzzy Sets Syst.

Fuzzy Sets, Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets

2017
In this chapter, we define four separations of generalized interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets (GIVIFSs). In fact, all interval-valued Intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IVIFSs) are GIVIFSs but all GIVIFSs are not IVIFSs. Also, we studied some properties of the four separated subsets of GIVIFSs.

Correlation of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets [PDF]

open access: possible, 2010
The correlation coefficient (Pearson's r) is one of the most frequently used tools in statistics. In this paper we propose a correlation coefficient of Atanassov's intuitionistic fuzzy sets (A-IFSs). It provides the strength of the relationship between A-IFSs and also shows if the considered sets are positively or negatively correlated.

Systems on intuitionistic fuzzy special sets and intuitionistic fuzzy special measures

Information Sciences, 2000
On the base of the notions of intuitionistic fuzzy set (extension of the ordinary fuzzy set) [the reviewer, Fuzzy Sets Syst. 20, 87-96 (1986; Zbl 0631.03040)], intuitionistic fuzzy point, and intuitionistic fuzzy topological space [\textit{D. Intuitionistic Fuzzy Rough Sets Determined by Intuitionistic Fuzzy Implicators

2010 IEEE International Conference on Granular Computing, 2010
The primitive notions in rough set theory are lower and upper approximation operators defined by a fixed binary relation and satisfy many interesting properties. Many types of generalized rough set models have been developed in the literature. This paper investigates intuitionistic fuzzy rough sets resulted from approximations of intuitionistic fuzzy ...

Complex intuitionistic fuzzy sets

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2012
This paper presents a new concept of complex intuitionistic fuzzy set (CIFS) which is generalized from the innovative concept of a complex fuzzy set (CFS) by adding the non-membership term to the definition of CFS. The novelty of CIFS lies in its ability for membership and non-membership functions to achieve more range of values.

(s,t]-Intuitionistic Convex Fuzzy Sets

2010
Based on the concept of cut sets on the intuitionistic fuzzy sets [1] and the neighborhood relations between a fuzzy point and an intuitionistic fuzzy set [2], we define 16 kinds of (α,β)-intuitionistic convex fuzzy sets for α,β ∈ { ∈ ,q, ∈ ∧ q, ∈ ∨ q }, and the relationships between them are investigated.

Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets as a Generalization of Fuzzy Sets

2014
In the mid-1980s Atanassov introduced the concept of an intuitionistic fuzzy set. Basically, his idea was that unlike the conventional fuzzy sets in which imprecision is just modeled by the membership degree from [0,1], and for which the non-membership degree is just automatically the complementation to 1 of the membership degree, in an intuitionistic ...
