Affine invariant conditions for a class of differential polynomial cubic systems

open access: yesActa et Commentationes: Ştiinţe Exacte şi ale Naturii
In this article the affine invariant criteria constructed in terms of algebraic polynomials with coefficients $\tilde a \in \mathcal R^{20}$ for a class of cubic systems are established.

Combining antibody conjugates with cytotoxic and immune‐stimulating payloads maximizes anti‐cancer activity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Methods to improve antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) treatment durability in cancer therapy are needed. We utilized ADCs and immune‐stimulating antibody conjugates (ISACs), which are made from two non‐competitive antibodies, to enhance the entry of toxic payloads into cancer cells and deliver immunostimulatory agents into immune cells.

Using intermediate energy knockout, pickup, and charge exchange reactions with invariant mass spectroscopy for investigating nuclear structure beyond the proton drip line

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics
The continuum structure of light p-rich elements has been extensively studied in recent years by invariant-mass spectroscopy. The feeble Coulomb barrier for light proton-rich nuclei makes proton decay an essential tool in this region not unlike alpha ...

Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.

Classification of cubic differential systems with invariant straight lines of total multiplicity eight and two distinct infinite singularities

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2015
In this article we prove a classification theorem (Main theorem) of real planar cubic vector fields which possess two distinct infinite singularities (real or complex) and eight invariant straight lines, including the line at infinity and including ...

Invariants of Space Line Element Structure Based on Projective Geometric Algebra

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Based on the theory of Conformal Geometric Algebra, this paper presents a geometric constraint structure consisting of seven straight lines on three adjacent planes and its projective invariants, which can be obtained from a single frame image. Comparing

Cell‐cycle‐specific lesion evolution rather than inhibition of double‐strand‐break repair underpins cisplatin radiosensitization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Geometric and algebraic classification of quadratic differential systems with invariant hyperbolas

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2017
Let QSH be the whole class of non-degenerate planar quadratic differential systems possessing at least one invariant hyperbola. We classify this family of systems, modulo the action of the group of real affine transformations and time rescaling ...

Overview of molecular signatures of senescence and associated resources: pros and cons

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Cells can enter a stress response state termed cellular senescence that is involved in various diseases and aging. Detecting these cells is challenging due to the lack of universal biomarkers. This review presents the current state of senescence identification, from biomarkers to molecular signatures, compares tools and approaches, and highlights ...

Global phase portraits for quadratic systems with a hyperbola and a straight line as invariant algebraic curves

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2018
In this article we consider a class of quadratic polynomial differential systems in the plane having a hyperbola and a straight line as invariant algebraic curves, and we classify all its phase portraits.
