Hurewicz images in BP and related homology theories

open access: yes, 1999
In this paper BP-theory is used to give a proof that there exists astable homotopy element in ?S2n+1?2(RP?) with non-zero Hurewicz imagein ju-theory if and only if there exists an element of ?S2n+1?2(S0) which is represented by a framed manifold of Arf ...

Applying the manifold theory to Milky Way models: First steps on morphology and kinematics

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2012
We present recent results obtained by applying invariant manifold techniques to analytical models of the Milky Way. It has been shown that invariant manifolds can reproduce successfully the spiral arms and rings in external barred galaxies. Here, for the

An instanton-invariant for 3-manifolds [PDF]

open access: yesCommunications in Mathematical Physics, 1988
In this seminal paper the author introduces new invariants for 3- manifolds defined by the instanton solutions of the Yang-Mills equations. Let M be an oriented homology 3-sphere and choose a Riemannian metric on M. Let X be the Riemannian product \(M\times {\mathbb{R}}\).

Invariant manifolds for stochastic wave equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
In this paper, we consider a class of stochastic wave equations with nonlinear multiplicative noise. We first show that these stochastic wave equations generate random dynamical systems (or stochastic flows) by transforming the stochastic wave equations ...

Disentangling Bulk and Surface Contributions to Charge and Discharge Fading in High‐Voltage LiCoO2

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
High‐voltage operation of LiCoO2 accelerates capacity fading through bulk and surface degradation. By introducing a LiTaO3 coating to selectively suppress surface degradation, bulk and surface contributions to charge and discharge fading are decoupled.

Memristive‐Gated RC‐Delay Synaptic Transistors for Time‐Encoded Analog in‐Memory Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A Memristive‐Gated Transistor for Time‐Encoded Analog In‐Memory Computing — By exploiting the RC delay of a self‐rectifying interface‐type memristor, nonlinear I–V distortion is structurally bypassed, enabling 3‐bit nonvolatile memory, spike‐timing‐based analog encoding, and hardware‐calibrated reservoir‐computing validation within a unified device ...

The Dixmier trace and the Wodzicki residue for global pseudo-differential operators on compact manifolds.

open access: yesRevista Integración, 2020
In this note, we announce the results of our investigation on the Dixmier trace and the Wodzicki residue for pseudo-differential operators on compact manifolds.

Anti-Invariant Semi-Riemannian Submersions from Almost Para-Hermitian Manifolds

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces and Applications, 2013
We introduce anti-invariant semi-Riemannian submersions from almost para-Hermitian manifolds onto semi-Riemannian manifolds. We give an example, investigate the geometry of foliations which are arisen from the definition of a semi-Riemannian submersion ...

New solutions to Einstein's equations to find Walker manifolds [PDF]

open access: yesریاضی و جامعه
In this paper, we investigate the Einsteinian manifolds with parallel null distribution. For this, we first obtain the equations that lead to finding the mentioned manifolds. These equations are known as Einstein's equations.

Network Topology Governs Photocatalytic Water Splitting in Organic Two‐Dimensional Crystals

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Network topology in organic two‐dimensional crystals (O2DCs) dictates the photocatalytic water splitting performance. Kagome‐lattice O2DCs exhibit strong electron‐hole mass asymmetry, spatially separated carriers, and longer recombination lifetimes, exceeding rhombic isomers.
