Donaldson Invariants of Symplectic Manifolds [PDF]
We prove that symplectic 4-manifolds with $b_1 = 0$ and $b^+ > 1$ have nonvanishing Donaldson invariants, and that the canonical class is always a basic class. We also characterize in many situations the basic classes of a Lefschetz fibration over the sphere which evaluate maximally on a generic fiber.

Cylindrical Manifolds and Tube Dynamics in the Restricted Three-Body Problem [PDF]
Within the phase space of the planar circular restricted three-body problem, stable and unstable manifolds of periodic orbits with a S x R (cylindrical) geometry are shown to exist.

In this work, we use direct ink writing (DIW) to 3D print Bi2Te3‐based materials and naturally induce hierarchical functional nanostructures, which reduced the lattice thermal conductivity by half, resulting in high zT of 0.87and 0.89 in p‐type and n‐type compounds, respectively, competitive with commercial materials.

$Δ$ Invariants of Plumbed Manifolds
We study the minimal 𝑞-exponent Δ in the BPS 𝑞-series Ẑ of negative definite plumbed 3-manifolds equipped with a spinc-structure. We express the Δ of Seifert manifolds in terms of an invariant commonly used in singularity theory. We provide several examples illustrating the interesting behaviour of Δ for non-Seifert manifolds.

Aberrant glycosylation in the glioblastoma tumor microenvironment drives therapeutic resistance. Here, a 3D bioprinted model was engineered by incorporating α‐NeuNAc‐(2→3)‐β‐D‐Gal‐ and chondroitin sulfate. Combined multiplex immunofluorescence and synchrotron‐based nanoCT analysis revealed that glycan‐matrix interactions dictate specific drug‐escape ...

Hearing exotic smooth structures
This paper explores the existence and properties of basic eigenvalues and eigenfunctions associated with the Riemannian Laplacian on closed, connected Riemannian manifolds featuring an effective isometric action by a compact Lie group.

High‐Throughput Discovery of Quantum Frustrated Materials
Physics‐guided discovery of frustrated kagome and triangular magnets. ABSTRACT Geometrical frustration provides a fertile platform for realizing exotic quantum phases such as spin liquids, yet, the predictive identification of frustrated magnets remains limited.

Uniqueness of solutions to singular p-Laplacian equations with subcritical nonlinearity
We present a geometric approach to the study of quasilinear elliptic p-Laplacian problems on a ball in ℝn${\mathbb{R}^{n}}$ using techniques from dynamical systems.

Schematic illustration of the engineered RN@FDT for multimodal tumor therapy. a) Fabrication of FD&DOX/TFA‐loaded RGD‐NNV (RN@FDT) and the light‐triggered disassemble of RN@FDT. b) After internalized by tumor cells, RN@FDT are disintegrated under NIR‐II laser irradiation to boost PTT and induce cell apoptosis.
