Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.

Comonotonic measures of multivariates risks [PDF]

open access: yes
We propose a multivariate extension of a well-known characterization by S. Kusuoka of regular and coherent risk measures as maximal correlation functionals.

New non degenerate invariant measures for the Benjamin–Ono equation

open access: yesComptes Rendus. Mathématique
We show that the recent work by Gérard–Kappeler–Topalov can be used in order to construct new non degenerate invariant measures for the Benjamin–Ono equation on the Sobolev spaces $H^s$, $s>-1/2$.

Complete Closest-Target Based Directional FDH Measures of Efficiency in DEA [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Optimization in Industrial Engineering, 2012
In this paper, we aim to overcome three major shortcomings of the FDH (Free Disposal Hull) directional distance function through developing two new, named Linear and Fractional CDFDH, complete FDH measures of efficiency.

Cell‐cycle‐specific lesion evolution rather than inhibition of double‐strand‐break repair underpins cisplatin radiosensitization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Integral representations of invariant measures

open access: yes, 1977
In this paper we prove, under suitable conditions, several representation theorems for invariant measures arising out of the action of a family of measurable transformations J \mathcal {J} on a measurable space

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Periodic and invariant measures for stochastic wave equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2004
We establish the existence of periodic and invariant measures for a semilinear wave equation with random noise. These are counterparts of time-periodic and stationary solutions of a deterministic equation. The key element in our analysis is to prove that
