Conformal mappings and inverse boundary value problems
Summary: Recently, \textit{I. Akduman} and \textit{R. Kress} [Inverse Probl. 18, No. 6, 1659-1672 (2002; Zbl 1069.35090)] proposed a conformal mapping technique for reconstructing the interior boundary curve of a two-dimensional doubly connected bounded domain from the Cauchy data of a harmonic function on the exterior boundary curve.

Quasisolutions of Inverse Boundary-Value Problem of Aerodynamics for Dense Airfoil Grids [PDF]
In the process of turbomachinery development, it is of great importance to accurately design impellers and select their blade shape. One of the promising approaches to solving this problem is based on the theory of inverse boundary-value problems in ...

An Inverse Sturm–Liouville-Type Problem with Constant Delay and Non-Zero Initial Function
We suggest a new statement of the inverse spectral problem for Sturm–Liouville-type operators with constant delay. This inverse problem consists of recovering the coefficient (often referred to as potential) of the delayed term in the corresponding ...

On the theory of the known inverse problems for the heat transfer equation
The inverse problems for finding the initial condition and the right-hand side were studied for the heat transfer equation. A solution of the initial boundary value problem for the inhomogeneous heat transfer equation with sufficient conditions for the ...

It is known that V.A. Ilyin and E.I. Moiseev studied generalized nonlocal boundary value problems for the Sturm-Liouville equation, the nonlocal boundary conditions specified at the interior points of the interval under consideration. For such problems,

Inverse boundary value problem for a linearized equations of longitudinal waves in rods
In this article, a question regarding the solvability of an inverse boundary value problem for the linearized equation of longitudinal waves in rods with an integral condition of the first kind was considered.

On the question of the correctness of inverse problems for the inhomogeneous Helmholtz equation
In the rectangular domain, the initial-boundary value problem for the Helmholtz equation and its non-local modifications are studied and the inverse problems for finding its right-hand side are studied.

An inverse boundary value problem in electrodynamics
Let \(\Omega\) be a bounded domain in \(\mathbb{R}^ 3\) with a smooth boundary \(\Gamma\) and a connected complement. Let the electric permittivity, conductivity and magnetic permeability be denoted by \(\varepsilon\), \(\sigma\) and \(\mu\) respectively. Let \(E\), \(H\) denote respectively the electric and magnetic fields inside \(\Omega\).
