Degree theory for 4‐dimensional asymptotically conical gradient expanding solitons

Abstract We develop a new degree theory for 4‐dimensional, asymptotically conical gradient expanding solitons. Our theory implies the existence of gradient expanding solitons that are asymptotic to any given cone over S3$S^3$ with non‐negative scalar curvature. We also obtain a similar existence result for cones whose link is diffeomorphic to S3/Γ$S^3/\

Three sets of strength data were selected, including hydrostatic pressure independent within the brittle region (HPI‐B), hydrostatic pressure dependent within the brittle region (HPD‐B), and hydrostatic pressure dependent within the brittle–ductile region (HPD‐BD). The impact of forced closure on proppant distribution of hydraulic fracturing in shale formations

Research findings demonstrate that implementing forced closure within shale formations can remarkably mitigate proppant settlement, concurrently increasing the effective propped surface area from 29.74% to 38.68%.
