Fundamental Challenges, Physical Implementations, and Integration Strategies for Ising Machines in Large‐Scale Optimization Tasks

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Ising machines are emerging as specialized hardware solvers for computationally hard optimization problems. This review examines five major platforms—digital CMOS, analog CMOS, emerging devices, coherent optics, and quantum systems—highlighting physics‐rooted advantages and shared bottlenecks in scalability and connectivity.

An improved inverse finite element method for shape sensing using isogeometric analysis

Measurement: Journal of the International Measurement Confederation, 2021
The inverse finite element method (iFEM) is advisable as accurate and efficient method for structure health monitoring (SHM). The previous standard iFEM uses 0th-order and 1st-order shape functions to reconstruct displacement fields under concentrated ...

Shape sensing of variable cross-section beam using the inverse finite element method and isogeometric analysis

Measurement: Journal of the International Measurement Confederation, 2020
The inverse finite element method (IFEM), which is used to reconstruct the displacement field from the discrete surface strain measurements, is of great significance to the management, control and driving of smart structures.
