Inverse Design of Amorphous Materials With Targeted Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
AMDEN is a diffusion model framework for the inverse design of amorphous materials with targeted properties. By incorporating Hamiltonian Monte Carlo refinement into the denoising process, the framework overcomes the challenge of generating thermally relaxed disordered structures.

ON AN INVERSE PROBLEM IN ELASTICITY

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica, 1982
Given are two functions f and g on a part \(\ell\) of the boundary of \(G\in {\mathbb{R}}^ 2\), it is to find the right hand side vector \(\eta\) of the second order elasticity system (with constant coefficients) for which there is a solution w, satisfying the conditions \(w=f\) and \(w_ n=g\) on \(\ell\) and to obtain this solution as well.

When Poor Exciton Dissociation Limits Photocurrents in Organic Solar Cells: Why Low Offset Non‐Fullerene Acceptor Blends Can't Be Efficient

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The energetic offset between the donor and the acceptor components in organic photoactive layers is central to the tradeoff between photovoltage and photocurrent losses. This Perspective covers the most important issues surrounding this topic in non‐fullerene acceptor blends, from the difficulty of accurately determining state energies and driving ...

Bayesian inverse problems in measure spaces with application to Burgers and Hamilton–Jacobi equations with white noise forcing

open access: yes, 2012
This paper formulates Bayesian inverse problems for inference in a topological measure space given noisy observations. Conditions for the validity of the Bayes’ formula and the well posedness of the posterior measure are studied.

Emergent Spin Supersolids in Frustrated Quantum Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review highlights developments in the study of spin super‐solids in frustrated quantum materials. Advanced experimental characterizations and computational studies enable a comprehensive understanding of the driving mechanisms of spin super‐solidity in various layered transition‐metal compounds, bridging materials, experiments, and theory aspects.

Isomorphic Inverse Problems

open access: yesRussian Journal of Mathematical Physics
Consider two inverse problems for Sturm-Liouville problems on the unit interval. It means that there are two corresponding mappings $F, f$ from a Hilbert space of potentials $H$ into their spectral data. They are called isomorphic if $F$ is a composition of $f$ and some isomorphism $U$ of $H$ onto itself.

In Situ Regenerative Adduct Assisted p‐Type Doping of Organic Semiconductor

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An in situ regenerative adduct‐assisted (IRAA) doping strategy is introduced for p‐type doping of organic semiconductors. A regenerating adduct serves as the dopant, enabling highly efficient doping with a choice of counterions. The generality of this approach provides a scalable route to dope a wide range of hole‐transport materials with high thermal ...

Inverse problems in engineering mechanics II International Symposium on Inverse Problems in Engineering Mechanics 2000 (ISIP 2000), Nagano, Japan

open access: yes, 2000
Inverse Problems are found in many areas of engineering mechanics and there are many successful applications e.g. in non-destructive testing and characterization of material properties by ultrasonic or X-ray techniques, thermography, etc.
