Spatial and Temporal Distribution Characteristics of Atmospheric Inversion in China
Atmospheric inversion plays an important role in meteorological research and air quality research. This study used ERA5 hourly temperature profile data from 2011 to 2020 to evaluate the low-level atmospheric inversion features of six regions, including ...

REDUCED BINOCULAR DEPTH INVERSION IN PATIENTS WITH ALCOHOLISM [PDF]
Binocular depth inversion represents an illusion of visual perception, serving to invert the perception of implausible hollow objects, e.g. a hollow face into a normal face. Such inversion occurs frequently, especially when objects with a higher degree of familiarity (e.g. photographs of faces) are displayed.

Dense RGB-D visual odometry using inverse depth [PDF]
In this paper we present a dense visual odometry system for RGB-D cameras performing both photometric and geometric error minimisation to estimate the camera motion between frames. Contrary to most works in the literature, we parametrise the geometric error by the inverse depth instead of the depth, which translates into a better fit of the ...

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Depth Inversion to Monitor River-Mouth Bar Dynamics
Monitoring the morphological evolution of a river-mouth bar is of both practical and scientific importance. A large amount of sediment is transported from a river to surrounding littoral cells via a deltaic bar after an extreme weather event. However, it

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.
