Design and Analysis of Three-Phase Three-Level PWM Inverter [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Design of three-phase three level PWM inverter and analysis of the output current harmonics are presented in this paper. The three-level inverter is designed to supply three-phase load and it is controlled by FPGA under several modulation techniques ...

Graph Invertibility

open access: yesGraphs and Combinatorics, 2013
Extending the work of Godsil and others, we investigate the notion of the inverse of a graph (specifically, of bipartite graphs with a unique perfect matching). We provide a concise necessary and sufficient condition for the invertibility of such graphs and generalize the notion of invertibility to multigraphs.

Structural insights into lacto‐N‐biose I recognition by a family 32 carbohydrate‐binding module from Bifidobacterium bifidum

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Bifidobacterium bifidum establishes symbiosis with infants by metabolizing lacto‐N‐biose I (LNB) from human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs). The extracellular multidomain enzyme LnbB drives this process, releasing LNB via its catalytic glycoside hydrolase family 20 (GH20) lacto‐N‐biosidase domain.

Peptide‐based ligand antagonists block a Vibrio cholerae adhesin

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The structure of a peptide‐binding domain of the Vibrio cholerae adhesin FrhA was solved by X‐ray crystallography, revealing how the inhibitory peptide AGYTD binds tightly at its Ca2+‐coordinated pocket. Structure‐guided design incorporating D‐amino acids enhanced binding affinity, providing a foundation for developing anti‐adhesion therapeutics ...

Balancing Control of DC-Link Capacitor Voltages for Five-Level Hybrid Diode-Clamped Inverters With Passive Front-Ends

open access: yesIEEE Access
The paper presents a control strategy for balancing DC-link capacitor voltages in a five-level hybrid diode-clamped (5L-HDC) inverter, consisting of two half-bridges and diode-clamped cells.

Variable-frequency inverter controls torque, speed, and braking in ac induction motors [PDF]

open access: yes, 1974
Dc to ac inverter provides optimum frequency and voltage to ac induction motor, in response to different motor-load and speed requirements. Inverter varies slip frequency of motor in proportion to required torque.

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

Fault Current Negative Contribution Method for Inverter-Based Distributed Generators Under Grid Unbalanced Fault

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
With the rapid increase of embedded inverter-based distributed generators (IBDGs), the active distributed network (ADN) is facing security and protection challenges because IBDGs will contribute extra fault current.
