Control of a Parallel Resonant Inverter

2004 43rd IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (CDC) (IEEE Cat. No.04CH37601), 2004
In this article we propose a combination of generalized proportional integral control and sliding mode implementation, through a /spl Delta/ - /spl Sigma/ modulator, for the solution of an output feedback trajectory tracking problem defined on a single phase parallel resonant inverter achieving a DC to AC power conversion.

Decoupled droop control of inverters

IECON 2013 - 39th Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2013
This article first reviews the droop control method for inverters participating in low voltage microgrids, discussing static and dynamic response. Then the paper proposes a droop controller that brings independent actuation of frequency over active power and voltage over reactive power.

Microcomputer Control of PWM Inverters

IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 1982
A method is proposed for implementing on a microcomputer the control of inverters modulated with a digital technique. It consists of storing in the microcomputer memory the switching patterns relative to a limited number of levels of the first harmonics of the inverter output voltage and of computing on line the actual pattern by interpolating the ...

Control of a flexible inverted pendulum

Advanced Robotics, 1993
This study treats the control problem of an inverted pendulum with a flexible structure. Controlling an inverted pendulum is a fundamental of stabilizing unstable systems such as walking robots. Furthermore, consideration of the flexibility is essential for controlling light-weight mechanical systems with quick motion.

A PWM Inverter Control Considering the Modes of Operation of the Inverter

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1983
Abstract A PWM control method has been developed that provides optimum performance of inverter-fed induction motor drives by minimizing additional losses and torque pulsations. That method has been employed for many years in an inverter-fed induction motor drive series where the frequency converter has a diode rectifier-dc chopper-PWM inverter ...

Generator Emulation Controls for Photovoltaic Inverters

IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid, 2011
State-of-the-art inverter controls for grid-tied photovoltaic (PV) systems pose a number of challenges to grid stability if deployed on a large scale. This paper addresses large-scale integration of PV and other distributed generation (DG) into the grid.

Control of power-shuttle motion-inverter

Proceedings of the 2005, American Control Conference, 2005., 2005
The topic of this paper is the design of the control system for the automatic motion-inverter in agricultural tractors. The objective of this system is to perform a fully-automated symmetric motion inversion. The device (reverser) used for the automatic motion inversion is an electro-hydraulic system, constituted by two clutches (one for the forward ...
