open access: yesShuitu Baochi Xuebao, 2023

open access: yesShuitu Baochi Xuebao, 2023

open access: yesShuitu Baochi Xuebao, 2023
为探究安徽省青弋江流域土壤侵蚀的演变规律和驱动因素,采用InVEST模型对该流域2000-2018年的土壤侵蚀特征开展了研究,量化了不同土地利用类型、海拔、坡度下土壤侵蚀状况,并借助地理探测器对流域土壤侵蚀影响因素进行分析。结果表明:(1)2000年、2010年、2018年该流域平均土壤侵蚀模数分别为15.29,14.14,10.74 t/(hm2·a),侵蚀总量分别为1.08×107,1.00×107,0.76×107 t,呈现逐渐减小特征;(2)流域内土壤侵蚀空间差异显著,呈现"北低南高"的分布格局;

Organ‐specific ozone and nitrogen legacies strengthen substrate control over litter decomposition

open access: yesFunctional Ecology, EarlyView.
Read the free Plain Language Summary for this article on the Journal blog. Abstract Elevated tropospheric ozone (O3) and nitrogen (N) deposition are concurrent atmospheric changes that strongly influence terrestrial carbon cycling, yet their combined effects on below‐ground decomposition remain poorly understood.

open access: yesShuitu Baochi Xuebao, 2022

Looking at Us Through Their Eyes. The Analytical Process from Ethnographic Perspectives1

open access: yesJournal of Analytical Psychology, EarlyView.
Abstract This article looks at the analytical situation through the Others’ eyes—through examples from contemporary ethnographies of foreign cultures. It discusses the following issues: a) The analogy between the ontological worlds of the dead, ghosts, animals and dreams in “primitive populations” and the analytical psychological descriptions of the ...

open access: yesShuitu Baochi Xuebao, 2023

When and why to give shorebirds a head start

open access: yesConservation Biology, EarlyView.
Abstract Headstarting is a translocation technique involving the hatching or rearing of wild eggs or young in captivity and the release of those individuals back to the wild at or before independence. It has been trialed as a conservation intervention for shorebirds over recent decades to improve the population trend of target populations by increasing

Perceived costs as drivers of wildlife management preferences in rural Tanzanian communities

open access: yesConservation Biology, EarlyView.
Abstract Effectively managing human–wildlife interactions is crucial for fostering coexistence on shared landscapes. Management options are most effective when aligned with the preferences of people directly affected by wildlife, yet little is known about how socioecological factors influence these preferences.

Estimating the total mortality of seabirds following a marine heat wave

open access: yesConservation Biology, EarlyView.
Abstract Marine heat waves detrimentally affect a range of marine species, including seabirds, and are increasing in frequency and severity. When thousands of dead seabirds wash up on beaches, the public becomes concerned. However, the number of dead birds recorded on beaches is only a fraction of the total mortality; most birds perish at sea.
